Day 85 The Old Hospital located on Riverside Drive Empty, haunted perhaps, and a perfect location for photos :) Day 87 The old RCMP station located beside Town Hall. I actually remember getting finger printed during an elementary school field trip :) Day 86 Mike Todor Fine Photography located at #20 3rd Ave W I just love how this building hasn't modernized like many have already.

Wow, day 100 is creeping up pretty fast.

Today I chose the Waldorf Hotel downtown located at 70 Railway Ave, it's nothing close to the Waldorf-Astoria but it is a fine piece of history in Downtown Drumheller!

The Navy League Building in Drumheller. I actually was a cadet a long time ago...I still remember having to clean our hats with a toothbrush!!

Drumheller Central School. Located at 245 3rd Street in Drumheller. I went to Kindergarten through grade 3 here 24 years ago!!! Yikes that make me sound old!! :)
Rumor has it that this once was a hospital and it's haunted...what have you heard?

The Sports Room - Source for Sports. Located at 65 3rd Ave W. This block along with others is known to have tunnels underground connecting each store...Why was that?

Wades Jewellery located at 140 3rd Ave W - They opened up at this building in 1976, and the building is 85 years old.

Schumacher, Gough & Co. Building located at 196 3rd Street W - A popular spot for me when I do wedding photos. Love the architecture of this building.

This months theme is old buildings. Drumheller is known for their historical sites whether it be a bar or an old school, I am going to track down my favorite 31 buildings!

The Longbranch saloon is located in Midland and has a very unique western look. It's also known as the 19th Hole because it's just down road from the Golf Course.

I tried to look up more history on the Longbranch and all I could find was this statement "Considered a major part of Drumheller's night life. VLTs on premises." Though I can't say this is a major nightlife spot for me, it is one of my favorite Saloons in the summer!
